Bow & Arrow wants to thank you for choosing us! To ensure you have a great experience at our salon we would like to go over our salon policies.


Credit cards.

We require a credit card to book any appointment. This credit card reserves the time and will be stored on file for our cancellation policy.


Cancellation policy.

Since we are a color specialty salon, we require a 48 hour notice for all cancellations or rescheduling. If you cancel or reschedule 48 hours or less, you will be charged 100% of the service price. Please allow minimum 72 hours to cancel online or reschedule online. As a reminder we do book our months in advance and need time to fill that spot. Thank you for your understanding.


If your credit card on file doesn’t work once charged or is expired and can't be charged, you will be notified and will have to pay for the missed appointment before returning to the salon.


Running late.

Timing is everything! Even 5 minutes can throw off a day. If you are 10 minutes late for your scheduled appointment and there isn't an option to adjust the time, you will be charged full price and considered a no-show. If you are running late and there is an option to add more time, you will be charged an additional fee added to your scheduled service.


Hair color appointments - new clients

All new clients will receive a purifying hair treatment that is mandatory before any color service. This removes all buildup from water, chlorine, medication, products, silicones, and more. This is a necessary step that is not an option as a new client.

*When you book your first hair color appointment, you will receive an email consultation form us and we will make sure that enough time is booked. 


Hair color appointments - returning clients

Please come with clean hair that has been clarified or cleansed with a recommended product from one of your stylists at Bow & Arrow. If you do not come in with clean hair, we will have to add-on a pre-color treatment to your services for the day. 


Things to know.

We are a small boutique salon. We unfortunately don't have the space accommodate others to wait with you during your appointment, sorry for the inconvenience.


Plan ahead.

Color appointments can last 3 hours, so please plan accordingly and do not have anything booked right after the appointment in case there is more time needed. If there is a time restriction that comes up, please adjust the appointment within 48 hours, per our cancellation policy. The time you are booked for is the minimum time we will need.


In Salon.

We are a small space with a relaxed and comfortable vibe. If you need to make a phone call please use the hallway to do so. 


Re-dos.

We make sure that all expectations are set prior to your first initial appointment, since many color goals take multiple appointments we make sure we are clear with the in-between color that could be possible. If you are not working on a goal and your hair color or cut did not come out according to plan, we want to know and make it right! If you want us to re-do or fix an issue we do need to know within 72 hours of your appointment. 


Children.

We love children, but we can not accommodate them unless they are receiving a service. We are a color focused salon which means there are chemicals being used everywhere. For safety reasons as well as our relaxing environment, please make arrangements for childcare prior to your appointment.

We do not have a receptionist to answer phone calls. Please book all appointments online. We will do our best to respond within 24 hours on a regular business day. We are open by appointment Tuesday-Sunday. Closed Monday. 


Cancellation list.

Please email us at bowandarrowcollective@gmail.com to be placed on our active cancellation list. Include name, number, dates and times that work for you, and when your appointment is scheduled. 


Payment.

You can pay with cash or credit card for services and products. Gratuity is not accepted on credit cards, please plan accordingly.
